A bloke I work with recently bought an Empi weber copy to fit his Suzuki 4wd. He brought it in to show me because he knows I've played with webers for years. He was all excited about it, but basically it was a piece of crap, I wouldn't fit one to my lawn mower. The casting quality was very poor and I've got 30 year old webers with less play in the linkages than his knew one. I sincerely doubt they're manufactured in the US, more than likely spat out in their hundreds from some dodgy factory in China!
