Italian Exotica: Acres of Italian Automobiles

Three unmissable events for 2008 will showcase the very best in Italian cars ? old and new ? from Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Maseratis to Alfas, Fiats and Lancias; not to mention an intriguing selection of weird and wonderful ?etceterini?.

Spring Italian Car Day: Brooklands, Saturday May 3rd

The hugely popular annual Spring Italian Car Day will be held at Brooklands on Saturday May 3rd. This feast of Italian machinery is well known for its displays of rare and fascinating Italian cars and motorcycles. Major attractions will include supercars from Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, plus special areas for Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Fiat owners? clubs. There will be plenty of action to see (and hear) on the infamous Test Hill where specially selected cars will delight the spectators throughout the day.

Entry to this exciting event will also include admission to Brooklands? motoring and aviation exhibitions, plus an extensive trade area and autojumble.

Gates open 08.30. Admission (pay on the day) is ?10 for adults, ?8 for seniors, ?5 for children (under-fives go free) ? or ?26 for a family ticket (based on 2 adults and up to 3 children). For more information visit: www.auto-italia.co.uk and www.brooklandsmuseum.com.

Meanwhile, make a note in your diaries of two further top Italian car events, to follow later in the year:

Auto Italia Concours: Stanford Hall, Sunday June 1st
and
Autumn Italian Car Day: Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Sunday September 14th
