Hi guys.
I owned SLF 768W around 1982 for probably 3 years.
It was THE car in North London (Finchley) when it was around.
I used to work for FIAT as a mechanic and it was a Demonstrator.
When I had it I fitted Lancia alloys on it and lowered it around 1 inch.
Had a KEX73 with TSW203 on the back shelf and 208s in the front doors.
Had the awesome rust coloured velour trim.
Obviously I had the 'Racing' badge on it too.
I sold it when I took the front speakers out to check them as the sound was muffled and there was a ton of rust stuck to the magnet!
Think I sold it for ?2000
Just remembered I also fitted a limited slip diff to it that we had knocking around at work. I never fitted that roof in it though. Honest!
I also had small letter plates on it as that was the in thing to do at the time. My pal had an orange one (WFN 718T) and another pal silver
Brake fade was the major issue on this car.
DS11s helped but only fitted 1 set of those.
Great to see a picture of it. Brings back wild memories of my favourite car.
