Fiat 131 - VFP783X

« on: August 04, 2009, 02:26:07 PM »

 Shocked
I just caught an LV.COM advert showing a runaway car colliding with what appeared to be a nice old red classic 3 box saloon. sadly only the new car magically repairs on screen.
At first I thought it looked like a Fiat 132, apparently its an Austin Victoria / Apache code ADO16 ?
filmed in S Africa I think, anyway I fail to understand why the apparent gratuitous use of old cars and their consequent destruction in films etc, even Heartbeat follows the trend, obviously budgets allow for this without much care to preserving old classics,,a shame in my opinion.
Sorry Ive not been posting late hope all members are in agreement on this.
Please reassure me its not a 132 ??
Cheers Ian
