Ive never had a sweet running engine in my 131,
Theo, hearing your engine last year made my mind up to try and do something about mine, hence the ECU/EFI, surely it will have to run better with those modifications!
To date, my engine sounds just the same as it always has and still drops to 3.5 cylinders on tickover! i must admit i still have to do some basic adjustments to the ECU/EFI mapping and i still have some shimming of the valve's to do but if i have no joy it will be 'Off with the head'
Im also hoping to fit another manifold that will give me a shorter Injector to Valve distance. Im no expert but im led to believe that the shorter the distance from the injector to the valve the better. Im also going to angle the Throttle bodies at 22.5 degrees! because ive also been told that it is the optimum angle for TB's, although i cant find any reference to the 22.5 degrees anywhere on the www. im trying it anyway.
