Blimey Aidan, how far is not too far???

Where abouts in Australia are you? I have family and close FIAT friends on the East coast around Brisbane, QLD, who are always looking out for 131s for me - even though I'm in the UK ;D :o ;D :D ;D Whilst they are few and very far between they do exist.

When I was over last (about 3 years ago) I saw and took pics of a very tidy orange 1600 Special sedan, and when I was over the first time in 1991 (for my honeymoon) I saw a blue 2000TC SuperBrava.

My mate in Birkdale, QLD has a 1976 131 Panorama that he has dropped a 2000TC motor into and also fitted after market air con - not that he's likely to sell it - he's only had it 20 years ;D

There are a few clubs in Aus that it might be worth contacting, dependant on where you are.

Are you choosy about what model sedan (2 or 4 door, early or late?) or will you take what there is?

Let us know and we'll see if we can help. ;D

Cheers

Hey im in the Victorian Fiat Car Club and i have a few of the boys keepin an eye out for me but 131's are getting rare over here as people dont tend to care for them they just disolve to nothing
well im 18 so the further away the car in (internationaly) the more it hurts to bring it over mainly because of the exchange rate.

I dont really mind what serise the car is aslong as it doesn't have the big plastic door trims on the bottoms of the door because they are a nightmare for rust a 2 door would be fantastic but but lets be honest i know of 3 in australia 2 of them are genuine 131 racings oneis  in my car club and the man who owns it is a bit of a wanker and will try to screw u on price as hard as he can and the 2nd is in the New South Wales club and the third was a 4 door that was convertet to a 2 door in our workshop at home and i have 1st dibs on that car if it ever came up for sale but i cant afford it so both of them are out of the question,

It needs to be right hand drive so that its easy to regester over here and the least ammout of rust possible the better even though i will be turing the car into a stradale replica with one of Bits of Italy's ( Dads) 9000rpm bottom ends and a 16valve head with individual throttle bodys and one of our lsd's which replaces the factory 131 diff with a fully engineered cut and shut escort center and banjo with the fiat 131 suspension pick ups on it,
which have been proved in motor sport in dads 124 spider abarth replica that we compete at targa tasmania in.

P.S
im looking for an abarth/racing 4 head light front grill, lights and mounts

Many Thanks
