131 supermirafiori 2000tc III with air conditioning

Caught this morning, very well preserved, no rust, no dings, no dents, all original except for liquid gas system, always seat covers fitted, daily use, unknown mileage (between 200000 and 250000 Kms I presume).
The rear bumper was changed many years ago but the difference in colour is still noticeable. Did those air conditioned cars arrive to great Britain and Ireland? And if yes was the "climatizzata" badge in italian or in english?

A nice car. I have not seen a UK car with air conditioning. Not sure if any were imported here, but if they were there are very few of them.

Hi - Nice car - I like the series 3s in silver - Faded bumpers do make the cars look shabby though which is a big shame. Is there a product that will bring them back to life..?

Like the guys earlier I have never seen an air conditioned 131 - Something to do with the climate in our part of the world I suspect - As I write this it is snowing in Limerick!?

To answer your question 131 DHOC, (Is that your real name..? ) the Italian language badges do not generally translate to English.

So on other Fiat models in the English speaking part of the world we have words like

inizionne
electronica
berlina
sedici
sedicivalvole
cinquecento
seicento
millecento

although I think that many english words (or initials for english words) would have been used on Italian versions of Fiat cars..

such as

energy saving
comfort
diesel
racing
sport
TC (Twin cam instead of bialbero)

Hi, this is not my car, it belongs to an engeneer which drives it daily to go to work, the seat covers are quality stuff, very well done and thick; I asked about badges because spanish seat 131 ones where translated and said "climatizado"? instead of "climatizzata". And of course 131DHOC is not my real name.......
Air conditioned 131s were very rare here and this car is a remarkable item for this and for its shape too. Those cars instead were very common in middle east (e.g. lebanon) and you can see a lot of them in the web.

I knew one car around 20 years ago in Holland, a 3rd series Automatic with Airco. This car had also the climatizzata badges.
The Racing with aircon my nephew owns and is shown here had also these badges but came from Italy, my Volumetrico with airco has normal 2000TC badges. Many years ago I visited a demolizione where a pretty good but crashdamaged series 3 stood, from that car I saved 1 of these climatizzata badges but I am still looking for 2 more, anybody???

By the way, this car needs to be saved! So, when it comes up for sale for a reasonable price, put it here please, otherwise keep it as clean as is please!

Fortunately this car is running no risks because the owner? keeps it in garage and the mainteinance of mechanicals and body is good. (I know all this because we share the same mechanic). Few months ago it still featured the original rear lamps, very very darkened from use. I photographed some more 131 super here, some in good shape too but it remains very few of them. By the way, althought airco was not common in UK maybe automatic transmission was so what did the badges say in this case? (as before, there was a little of automatics here so I don't remember if they fitted "automatica" badges) And what did they fit in case of both extras mounting?

What colour whas this 3dr series? It was a 2000tc I presume. Why do you need three climatizzata badges? 131s only fit two. Anyway some weeks ago there were for sale the 1300 1600 and 2000tc badges on e-bay from the same seller, so maybe asking......

I know this car from a lot of time and saw it before a deep "restoration", the hood was changed because it was totally drilled by rust (the only time I saw similar damage), there was a hole like hand under the right mirror side, and the full body is a plaster patch as you can see from around the fuel filler. The chrome rings on the wheels where so rusted that they had to throw it all away.
