Hi !
All my 131.s have a sagging inner roof, I dont think iam alone!what have you done to fix it?
,is it possible to get some waterbased sprayglue and make a small hole spay the inside and try to get it back on the inner roof from the middle to the sides!
Please give me advise!!
Cheers Alf
I don't think what you are suggesting will produce acceptable results. The problem with the headlining is that the cloth is foam (sponge) backed and it is this spongy material that dries up and dissolves with age. So you need to remove the cloth from the polystyrene headlining mount/structure, clean off all remnants of the old sponge and reattach the cloth (preferably new) to the polystyrene. It is possible to reattach the old cloth after cleaning it well (I did after washing the cloth in the washing machine!) but you might as well get new cloth from Yagmur. I believe Yagmur also has new solid headliners for the 131 so you might want to go for that. See
