South UK convoy to 3ma08

So far we know of three teams (well, two husband and wife teams and single old lonely me -  nobody loves me... ) travelling from the South of the UK to Scotland for the 3ma08.

Team A, the southernmost travellers from the Southeast coast, will actually start their journey on Wednesday 14th May and spend the evening  near Kidderminster. Team B and I ('team' C?) will start our journey north on Thursday 15th May and we'll arrange to meet up with Team A somewhere on route, probably the Stafford Services on the M6.

The Southern-UK convoy will have an overnight stay in the Lake District on Thursday 15th May. This will probably be in Ambleside where we have found some nice hotels/B&Bs but we have not finalised this yet. We'll wait a few days to see if anyone else wants to join our convoy north so we can book the same accommodation. So if you intend to join us travelling north on Thursday 15th May and would like an overnight stay in the Lake District please get in touch soon.
