Hi Everyone
You may recall some time ago I posted this about the brake pedal going right to the floor. Well, I got a new master cylinder (from the USA). It was for a Brava. Had it delivered to a mate of mine over there and he brought it over when he visited the other week. It cost me ?19 delivered and its brand new.

Its now fitted on the car and fresh brake fluid and am pleased to say the car now brakes as it should.

Thanks everyone for your help with this.

Glad you got it sorted. You should now have effective brakes for many years to come. Grin

back to the master cylinder topic: on 131 you can fit one from fiats: 124, 125, 128, 132, argenta (probably some more models) or from any rear wheel driven lada. they're all the same. still in production, metelli for my 131 was 12e and ferodo for my lada was 14e
