my guess would be 500kg

complete car is 1000-1100kg

engine+gearbox ~ 200kg
interior stuff at least 100kg
rear axle 50kg
glass 50kg?
suspension 50kg?
doors/bonnet/boot/front guards 100kg?
wheels 50kg

so removing all that: 1100-600 = 500kg

So probably design the rotisserie for at least 500kg  maybe 600kg - you might want to do something inside the car while it is up there.

Leave it outdoors for a weekend and it should be down another 100kg or so

It should not be anywhere near 500kg as i can lift the bare shell with suspension  on the front or rear by myself(a little bit but i can do it) and i am no athlete:).

I think it?s something between 400-500 kgs. Once we were lifting a striped 131 shell on a truck with 6 people and it was just acurate.

Hey guys, i have a fresh weight info. We completely striped a shell of my old Super and took it to a weighing-machine and it was aprox. 340 kg. Damn, all that interior stuff and axles weight too much! Shocked
