Another one Andy overheard recently, when some 'expert' was discussing my Stradale with his mate - "That's a replica because it only has one carburettor."

Yes I'm sorry Andy, Si and everyone, I'm affraid luck was not with me on the run up tp the event.

I was hoping to have Voli ready but that did not happen (and still has not).

As a back up vehicle I was going to borrow my friend Marks car (not a 131 but a similar shape).
His car decided to develop a fault with the power steering a couple of days before we were going so that pretty much did for us
