Hi all,

I'm after a 131 4 door that is structurally sound, condition of everything else not crucial...

...I'm based in London but willing to travel for the right car.

Thanks for your help!

Hello Niftynic!
I dont know how far you are willing to travel, but for this car i could travel a far way, its in the south of Sweden.
If i didnt have seven cars and not so much money , it already would been mine!
http://www.blocket.se/vi/18000015.htm?ca=21_s
In exilent condition
only 60.000km? New on the car: cambelt, cooler, exaust, gaspump, pillow block.
The price asked 2200 Euro
I think a good bid is accepted!
If you are interessed i can help ,I only live 100km away!
Best regards

Both of those cars look great...

...but I'm after something that I can cut to pieces in order to save my 131 2 door, I'm seeing the car for the first time today and I'm not sure if I'll be able to bid for Daves car in time...

...so keep the ideas coming, just in case!

Well, I finally got to look at my shell and the situation is pretty dire...

...there's barely enough sheet metal to keep the car off the ground, looking from the side it's bent like a banana!

But, there's enough of the necessary parts that I can use to turn a 4 door car into a 2 door...

...so keep searching for those 4 door shells!

Why don't you come to Turkey and buy a a 131 from here.
They are cheap and you can find a car up to 1987 model with electric windows, power steering, air condition  and also with a Tempra engine on it.

Interesting, i?m curious how does some of the latest 131?s in Turkey look like, do they differ from the european ones?  What Tempra engine is fitted? Do you have some details please..

Hi Wak131 ,
I am going to send you some pics soon about the latest models.
They have Tempra 1.6 literOHV --8 valves  carburator engines at Dogan models.
At Sahin models they have single cam 1.6 liter engines.

How much is a good condition 131 usually in Turkey?  Can you send some photos and any web pages with 131's for sale?

This sounds like a good idea, I can combine a holiday and pick up a car at the same time!

One things for sure, it will not be a cheap car when you work out the cost of fuel, ferry and accomodation!

Would you be better off buying a 2 door car & converting? or better still buy a sport, bob131 had one for sale lately.
