good man djape so your cost of living must be a lot lower than ours here my mortgage payments on our house are around €900 a month, so no point in working for nothing? i will price paint here this week just to double check but i know its very expensive.
sure, most of things are cheaper. mortage for a 100m square flat is, depending on location, around 4-500euro, belgrade city centre

Djapel are there many of those oval windowed beetles in serbia and what sort of a price range are they

not really, they are as rare as anywhere else in europe. later models are more comon, since 1200 and 1303 were produced in TAS factory in Sarajevo, bosnia herzegovina (all ex yugoslavia) until 1976 or 77.
this green one is still unfinished since the owner is still trying to gather all the little pieces for it

UAZ
soviet, or to be more precise Ukrainian jeep like thing. that's, believe it or not, one serious off road vehicle! will leave any landrover in the dust or stuck in the mud. permanent 4*4, three locking diffs, 2,5l petrol engine, burns anything from kerosine, thru leaded, unleaded to aviation fuel. vehicle built for soviet army, videly used in eastern europe

a friend of mine had it a while a go, he never paid toll. whenever he got near toolboot on the highway, he used to simply go off the highway, thru the ditch, across the field or a hill, and than back on the road.
also, it was priceless for the traffic jams. road ahead crowded? no problem, jost go offroad. and when he kept it on road, other drivers just got out off his way  Grin
