"Driving" your horse on the left was the early custom which meant your right hand (sword hand) was suited for defense in the event of attack from oncoming "traffic".

Not sure what left-handed swordsmen were supposed to do...! Smiley

LHD or RHD is completely not interesting for me with a car in this condition. The steeringwheel on the other side as you get used to gives an extra special feeling when you drive Grin

Dave, do you have difficulties with "right or wrong" as you sell all your "right cars" Wink Wink

This is without doubt the cleanest classic Fiat that I have EVER seen. It's 1974 and has done 12,000kms. It was bought new by a guy who was born in 1918 and sold to an enthusiast in 2001. While in the hands of the first owner who actualy lived in Venezuela but kept the car in Italy, it did 11000kms in the first 27 years of ownership. Apparently it never saw rain and always was kept in a garage (so no light damage). The second owner maintained this discipline.

In the last few years it has had every consumable replaced including water pump, fuel pump, carb, cambelt, battery, tyres, brake discs, master cylinder, clutch, etc etc. All using genuine Fiat parts sourced over time in Italy. Apparently there is not even a screw that is not original and the owner has resisted fitting a radio to preserve the originality. If ever there was an old classic car that deserved the description of "immaculate" and "showroom condition", this is it. I'm still disbelieving that such an unloved car as the Fiat 132 could have been cherished so much and if I owned the car, I'd be afraid to use...I think!

If I was the marketing Director for Fiat Ireland I'd be buying it for the reception area in headquarters. Smiley

Absolutely agree - I'm very very tempted but know that if I find a suitable S3 later I'll be sorry - Unfortunately I cant justify 2 132s! This one actually belongs in a museum or private collection.

I cant justify 2 132s!

But you already have 2 131s so the principle of single model multi ownership has been established  Grin Grin

Ya but one is a keeper and the other is my utilitarian 3MA car.  Smiley

When someone sets up the equivalent of 3MAs for 132s, then maybe I may need two 132s.  Smiley

That would be you once you have two 132s. You already found the keeper, just find a utilitarian 132 Grin Grin
