Series 1 and 2 door tag information

Good afternoon folks, I needed to get a new door tag for my 79 Brava. Now I know this is a series 2 but I need images of the series 1 and series 2 door tags. I have a LHD car so I don't know if that will make any difference. I really appreciate your help. I need the tag to get the car registered.

Oh I am sorry sid131! I will take a picture of the one on my Strada as it was missing on the 131. I will do so when I am home from work.

I have a 1979 Brava and its here in the USA. Send me your e-mail and ill go out in the garage and get you some pictures. I ll be looking for what you are looking for when you post the pictures of the Strada. My car is an American spec car and its left hand drive. Mike Stinson

Ok that took a while. The 131 has been driving my nuts lately. Anyway, here is the one on my Strada. I just need to see the text and orientation so I can have a new one made for my Brava. It's missing.

we call that the vin plate & its positioned on top of the front panel right side Wink

Can anyone help me see what the door tag on the Serirs 2 131 looks like? Without it I am not able to register my car in California. Feel free and blur any numbers that you feel personal. I just need the basics to get one made.

SID131, wait so there is nothing on your door? I have the vin tag on the dash also but its just the id for the car. Is this a US thing only? My 131 has a spot for this data plate on the door but its missing. Someone drilled out the 4 rivets and I need to have a new one made. My Strada and 124 spider both have this data plate on the door.

This must be a US thing, never seen a VIN plate or similar on a 131 door in Europe.
