Heini

Your car looks familiar because I had a German friend with one just looking like this one. You're from Germany, right? Or am I mistaken?

O boy. Do you need reading glasses?  Huh The name is Robert. Heini started the thread, and it was me who threw in the picture of the blue car.

Ik kom uit Duitsland, ja  Cool

The car I bought from Michael Flohr, nickname "Floppi". Maybe you know him?

Robert,

I'm so very sorry for getting your name wrong. Undecided Undecided Undecided
But I was right, you got the car from Floppi. Already thought I recognized it. Perhaps you've read the forum 2000 TC doesn't run. Well, once that car was his too. I traded it for a 4-door 1600 CL. Do you know how it is with Michael?

The golden one (picture from 2004)?

(The green one is a Sport in very bad condition we bought for parts - some of them are now in my car - yellow Konis, H?rmann skid pad, driveshaft, front spoiler, wheel arches; gearbox, rebuilt engine and front axle to follow)

Last time I heard from Floppi was in December 2009, when he commented my car on www.carsablanca.de. I think he still lives where he used to live - he's the kind of guy who needs to stay where his roots are. Last car of him I know about is a Seat 1430 he wanted to restore. Maybe Ren? (Forum name: 131akafa) knows his whereabouts? He also has one of his cars from Floppi  Wink

Yes, the golden one was mine. This was just a regular 1600 CL. The car on the left is also known to me. Horrible looking car.
Does Rene still have his red Abarth replica?

I forget his last name, Knauber. I found his alias and saw he owns the red Super now. Rene's father owns a silver 1400 TC, as far as I can recall. Great fun to see all those cars again and find out that my friends from the past are still "alive". Smiley

That's fair. So, you made profit. Could you do anything more with the rest of the parts?
By the way, how is Floppi? Does he still have a 131 anyway?

Well well well, the reading glasses  Grin - I answered your questions already:

Some of the parts are now in my car - yellow Konis, H?rmann skid pad, driveshaft, front spoiler, wheel arches, dashboard; gearbox, rebuilt engine and rebuilt front axle to follow.

Update: Also, I do still have the rear axle and the driver's door as a spare. All parts that were sold fetched around 700 Euros. So, a good return on investment  Grin

That was before I knew of the green/pink car. But you know what, Robert? Forget I asked. Ok?

Mike

sorry for offending you. Maybe it's just my style to read a thread thoroughly before commenting on anything - I am a journalist, so I'm used to this mode. But here I got the impression that all my elaborate provision of information was not read at all. I tried to make my comment as light as possible using a smilie. So again, sorry for any offence. And don't be so touchy, ok? After all, it's the 131 that this forum is all about.
