Bob,

Because i HAD one. I know what a good Stradale is worth. I got not enough for mine and i know the price of this blue example is too high. Perhaps Simon can confirm. He has one right now.

I have had 20 131 sport that does not mean I know the price and value of each sport, likewise you have owned an abarth what you got for your does not mean u know what others are worth. All sports and abarth a slightly different in the own different ways  Smiley

Bob,

I lived 131 Abarth for 24 years now and trust me, i've seen lots of cars and lots of prices. Stradales and group 4 cars. I owned a Stradale and i am rebuilding a group 4 car right now. I know Exactly what they are worth. Wink

"I know Exactly what they are worth"

Excuse me you are missing my point, if you know they price of 1 abarth does not mean you know the price of 20 abarths, they will all be different is some way and back to my early comment "how can you know a price /value of a car without seeing it"

Bob,
Be carefull now.
I know a car just by looking at the pictures. 24 years of study learned me almost everything about the Abarth. This very  car is too expensive.

The matter of values is extremely subjective - one person might pay twice as much as another for the same car - but there's a lot of difference between "asking price" and "acheiveable price".

Bob, you are correct in that every car should be seen 'in the metal' before a real value is put on it - taken for a drive even - as it may look stunning but all the drive train and suspension bushes could be shot to pieces. Therefore every car should be considered on it's individual merits before it is valued.

Personally, when based upon other Stradales that are currently on the market in Europe (some of which have been for sale for literally years incidentally) I don't think 60k Euros is too high - but whether anyone will actually pay that for this blue car - beautiful as it looks - is another story.

If this really is an ex-works car (which i doubt very much) and if it's complete, then it's CHEAP. I purchased three other cars which weren't works cars and they were far more expensive.
