The plan is to make stampings of the outer skin of the other door first. If everything goes fine, then outer skin of the other side. If there are people who actually will buy the doorskins, and if it looks like I can pay the stampings, I will make the bottom and inside too. After I have all stampings made I may put them together too, so maybe even complete doors. Ive been making smaller stampings for the g.4 project so I have some experience of stamping sheetmetal. Now Im starting to have the Abarth differential front mountingbrackets stamped. The tools are done but Im waiting the test pieces from lasercut. Sid131, are you interested? You have lots of experience of these things, maybe you want the first part and tell us how it is?

Marko i have 2 new doors for the next racing project but for the project after that i only have drivers door that needs a new skin & some repairs to the frame which i can do, so after that i dont know but would be interested in a new skin drivers side,
i know the process involved in setting up the making of doors & skins but you are going to have to invest ?1000s will you be able to sell the parts to cover costs?

Reason i ask is that i have some 4 door nos skins & reskinned front doors but no one is interested

Good stuff you do good work i see your alloy welding on facebook i used to do lots of alloy welding in fact lots of welding copper brass stainless alloy steel for years but now eyesight not what it used to be so may stop in a few years
