W-------- REG ANY ONE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FRIENDS 131 SUPER MIRAFIORI

Hi here is a picture of my friends Super Mirafiori ----------- W REG? ? ?

One of my best friends owned this around 1988 ?? 1990 ?? And it was in very clean condition, He had just fitted replacement doors to it before he sold it !! There is a story behind him selling it but we were all over a bit of waste land down near a railway track one day around 1988 - 1990 and this guy in an Austin Allegro or Austin Maxi?? ? I believe it was the Allegro!! . This guy came flying down this hill in it bouncing every where and believe he got stuck in the mud at the bottom, the next thing I know a deal was struck and my mate had the Allegro ?? ? :'(and around ?150 !! And the 131 was sold !

I STILL CANNOT WORK OUT WHY HE DONE THE DEAL TO THIS DAY!!?

It still puts a smile on my face to this day!!

I will try find out more from my friend on REG if he knows anymore!

Managed to come find some old photos with reg on don't know if it is still around now though .... Was my friends and was pretty imac too i nearly bought it for ?300 back then too lol  hahaha ... wishing i did

That was a bad deal!! An Allegro for a Sport!! He must have been mad.!!!

He must have been mad! I had an Allegro Equipe once briefly, it was one of the few cars I scrapped without a hint of regret & didnt bother taking a thing off of it prior to scrapping!

The 131 in question seems to have lasted till the end of 97, which as you probably know, was a pretty good innings for a 131... Got re-painted yellow at some stage too:
