Hi

I was watching a video the other day on you-tube about fiat 131's by kev131tc and I saw a Fiat with a rear slotted window shade and wanted to know about them. Did they come from the dealer and were they an option at one time? or is it something that is new and still being made? If they are old how rare are the? And how to the fit on the rear window?

They called it "Dragon back" here. No factory option, always aftermarket part. Was fitted with 4 hooks that went around the rear screen rubber (and were very rust friendly  Wink). Better to stick them to the rear screen using some removable glue like e.g. Sikaflex. They still pop up now and then on ebay; a few years ago nobody wanted them and they were thrown in the bin - now they can make 100 GBP. Here's one on a friend's car from Austria:
