Hi guys!

Before I start a new topic in a project section I have a question I need an answer to.

For some strange reason I have a need to build an Abarth Replica. With Replica I really mean Replica. It is not going to be even near the "real thing". I just want it to look like Markku Al?n's rally car from late 70's. It is going to be just a toy we can play with in different race tracks and closed gravel roads. Roll gage, Recaro seats, Twin Webers, tubular exhaust manifold, +300 degrees cams etc...

Because of Finnish law I need to know what is the maximum width of a 131 Abarth Gr.4. In Finland you are allowed to "stretch" you car only 100 mm in sideways. I think that the wheel arcs of 131 Abarth are much wider than 50 mm... Because of this I need to ask a special permit to stretch my car over 100 mm.

So, what is the maximum body width in 131 Abarth Gr.4?

Markko,

Will you build a tarmac version or a gravel version? I can tell you dimensions of both.

THere is another option. if your regulations do not allow to make car wider than 100mm from standard then you could use 131 abarth stradale as base for your measurements and this would probably be ok.

mirafiori76: Can you please tell me both?

Walezy: I had also thought like that but because there has not been any Stradales registered here in Finland, I am not able to use Stradale as a sample...

Front wings are the widest: Stradale 1720 millimeters, Tarmac group 4 1780 millimeters (measured my own Abarth for confirmation).
