Hello,

Anyone know anything about this vehicle?

It was imported from UK to Cyprus in 1983-1984

Series 2, 4 door salon 1600 Mirafiori CL light blue Colour with beige interior, square headlights

It was owned by my father for 2 years then went to scrap because of heavy rust damage

'Is it true that the S2 was worse for rust then the S1 and S3, or is this just a myth'.

It's not a myth. Especially the cars from 1979 were bad. Fiat used poor steel from Tsjechoslowakija and together with just a thin layer of paint and bodyprotection called the demise of many Fiats overall.

My Sport was a 79 V Reg and was rotting in the door frames and various other areas.
