Hi guys, going to fit the electric pump when I have time and I was going to run a feed to the ignition, is there a live feed anywhere else that's nearer............. Undecided

No.
Join into the appropriate ignition live wire on the wiring loom close to the ignition switch. Find a convenient way through the bulkhead for your single wire.
 Obtain a 4 prong relay.
Use the ignition feed as your relay trigger wire. Another prong to earth. Another prong to the fuel pump. The remaining to the battery + with an in line fuse. Keep this wire tidy by running around back of engine using the clips that secure the starter wire to the car bulkhead.
It is worth noting that should you be unfortunate to have a substantial front end crash, enough to part the fuel line from the carb, the fuel pump will continue spurting into a hot engine bay until you turn the ignition off.

Thanks for that  Grin I'm mounting the pump in the boot but i have a Punto cut off solenoid somewhere which if I can find will put in the fuel line under the seat so in the event of a crash it will automatically cut of............which ever way, there are wires to thread everywhere... Wink
