Title: 131 Abarth featured on Top Gear Post by: Thotos on June 30, 2008, 09:56:16 AM Did you see the 131 Abarth shown on Top Gear last night (Sunday 29/06/2008)? :D
"Featured" might be the wrong choice of word for the title of this posting but there was a very brief glimpse of a 131 Abarth Rally car in blue and white livery with Series 2 rear lights. I haven't stopped smiling yet!!!? :D :D :D ;D ;D :D :D A 131 Abarth on Top Gear ;D :D ;D ;D ;D A bit longer than 3 or 4 seconds air-time would be nice next time though :-\ Still, at least it got a mention in the same breath as a Mitzi Evo 10 and the new Scooby STi ;D 8) ;D Infact TG was a great programme last night - 2 new Rally bred road cars, a snarling V10 engined RS6 (I'd still buy the M5 estate myself!) and then the totally awesome Merc AMG 6.2 CLK. I'm not generally a Mercedes Benz man - but this car was no ordinary Mercedes Benz!! What a superb noise! ;D If only I could afford to put just one tank of petrol in it! :-\ How I love (petrol engined :D) cars 8) ;D :D ;) :P |
