Well first of all the weather forecast is dry and sunny on Friday which is a good omen I hope.? ;) I've been in touch with the hotel and they have a large car park opposite the hotel with the fjord as a back drop. This area will be cordoned off for our exclusive use. Should be a good location for some photos, especially from the upstairs windows of the hotel. On arrival we might try to group the cars together by type, eg I'm expecting more 127s/131s/132s than any other type - So if anyone who has a Fiat other than 1 of these and wants to stand out, this is the place to be this weekend!!? ;) I've put together a rough time table of events which should give some structure to the weekend although we can easily change anything that we want to.. Friday - Arrive for dinner - Say 8pm sit down should suit most people. Drinks and socialising after. 10.0 to 11.00 am Saturday : Photos and interviews with editor from Irish Vintage scene. 11.0 : Depart on tour of South Mayo and North Galway. 5/6pm Return to hotel. Possibly more interviews for the magazine. 7.30pm Sit down to dinner. 9.30 - 10.30 - Table quiz in the lounge - 6 rounds of 10 questions all based on Classic Fiats. (Help needed for marking, etc ...preferably glamorous help!)? ;D Drinks, etc. Sunday - Departure times variable but option to stay in convoy and meet for lunch in Oughterard before dispersing afterwards. As I said this is a suggestion - Variations welcome.. PS - Please remember your registration fee to help cover expenses.? :) PPS Dont forget to download and print your route map!!
