Title: Fantastic series 1 car Post by: kev131 on October 21, 2008, 07:30:43 PM Love the colour - Real 70s Fiat shade. Look at the condition.
Only let down is the lack of the optional rev counter and 5 speed gearbox ...but otherwise very desirable. http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/showDetails.html?id=82683025&__lp=1&scopeId=C&sortOption.sortBy=price.consumerGrossEuro&sortOption.sortOrder=ASCENDING&makeModelVariant1.makeId=8800&makeModelVariant1.modelId=7&makeModelVariant1.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant2.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant3.searchInFreetext=false&vehicleCategory=Car&segment=Car&siteId=GERMANY&negativeFeatures=EXPORT&damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&customerIdsAsString=&lang=de&pageNumber=1 Title: Re: Fantastic series 1 car Post by: Robert on October 21, 2008, 08:22:33 PM Kev, tomorrow I'll be just 100 kms from this location ;)
However, no Lampredi engine inside. He won't get 4400 for this car in Germany. Period. Cheers, Robert Title: Re: Fantastic series 1 car Post by: kev131 on October 21, 2008, 08:29:46 PM Hi Robert - How are you..? :)
Yes I agree about the price - This one (very similar condition I think - maybe not quite as pristine) has been for sale for almost 6 months at prices between ?2200 & ?1800 ..and is still for sale. And it has the 5 speed g/box as well! http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=vnttiw4wugev Agree also that absense of the TC is a minus but if you want a series 1 the best you can hope for is this engine. Personally I have my eye out for 1 as in moments of weakness I dream of having the full set (Series 1,2 &3)!! :-) Title: Re: Fantastic series 1 car Post by: mirafioriman on October 21, 2008, 09:04:52 PM Looks like a nice example, however I'm not really a fan of the series 1 cars. Too spartan and basic for me, I like the opulence of a Supermirafiori! Not my ideal colour either, although I like green I prefer the metallic finish.
Title: Re: Fantastic series 1 car Post by: bellamacchina on October 21, 2008, 09:21:22 PM Both very nice cars. I also expect 4.4E is way too much. Was there not the coppercoloured series 2 standing for ages in Germany for 3K?
But when you want a nice and clean lowmileage example this 1 is great! And you save a lot of time restoring you can spend with your wife ;D ;D |
