Well, they certainly haven't got their facts right so it's not unfathomable that they got their price estimate wrong. A 1976 131 Sport 2000 TC? Somebody please point Coys to our website's "131 Story" so they can get their facts right!

The link says that the car sold on 26.10.2008. Is there any way of finding out how much it sold for??

FYI - I think Mick Wood sold his Works car last yeat for about ?85k Sterling - so this estimate isn't too far out really. Yeah, it does appear high, but there is bound to be someone who is desperate for a works Abarth 131, that will pay close to that (perhaps from Japan), especially if a certain Belgian (and I don't mean Hercule Poirot!) can sell Stradales for in excess of ?40k Sterling!

There's hope for me yet! ;D

As for Hercule, yes that man has had some 'interesting' cars over the years (2dr Volumetrico especially).

As for the factual mistakes/myths made by other sites......if our site didn't exist there'd be nowhere to gain the truth....or near as damn it truth ;)

Yep, the parts seem expensive but how often do they turn up?

I took these pics at the Technoclassica Essen in 2001.
Bilsteins stand had many 'goodies' on display, new with boxes....I nearly keeled over....and they hadn't even mentioned any prices :D

Unsold, at least during my stay at the auction in Padova with a highest bid of 92000e. 

I saw for sale a 037 compressor(at least the ladyseller told so) complete with carburettor and inletmanifold, asking price 10000e. As far as I could see there is no difference with the 131 example although this thing had a double number BUT even when it is genuine 037 it is a bit pricey.

The stradale 037 unit is indeed the same as the 131 Volumetrico unit with exeception to 2 things......

The front pulley should be deeper to go with the 2" charger belt the 037 used.

The 037 unit does not have a scavenge pump, it has a sealed circuit oil supply.
