Title: GRILL Post by: miro-1980 on November 04, 2008, 12:02:40 AM Looking for this kind of 131 gill with lights - but in black. (top pict)
The other one (bottom pict) is the one I have now. M Title: Re: GRILL Post by: sid131 on November 04, 2008, 09:22:46 AM just a sugestion as those grills seem to be very rare could you neatly cut the inner hole bigger & use the 131 sport backing plate upside down, might be worth a try.
Title: Re: GRILL Post by: miro-1980 on November 04, 2008, 11:35:12 PM You must be right. It was our conclusion with Blogger after studying some detailed pictures.
Will try to do it. I could use an new set of Racing headlights thgough. I have a spare standard grill in pretyy good shape to experiment with. Thanks Title: Re: GRILL Post by: miro-1980 on November 10, 2008, 03:10:17 AM LOOK AT THIS !
This is from this site gallery ! This is what I am looking for ! I contacted Theo to get to the owner and ask him the questions of this grill. Will update when I get answers! Miro Title: Re: GRILL Post by: simon131 on November 10, 2008, 07:20:13 AM I think I recognise that car from somewhere ;D ;D
Title: Re: GRILL Post by: miro-1980 on November 10, 2008, 11:06:45 AM Oh, so you are the CAT !
Simon, tell me about your grill. I have been looking for such grill for some time. Is this original or has it been modified? It looks almost like standard grill I have with lights from Racing flipped over, but the small lights look smaller than the ones form racing. Tell me about the grill you got, please... or maybe you gave a spare one ? Miro Title: Re: GRILL Post by: wak131 on November 24, 2008, 01:35:25 PM This is the kind of do it yourself style you probably don?t want to go

Title: Re: GRILL Post by: gay131lover on November 25, 2008, 06:59:12 PM never meet so many condasending peopleeven without a 131 thats why i wouldnt put up pictures of my 2 sports >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(whypeople have to be so judgemental i will never know look in the mirror some day and see what looks back can you see any imperfections
Title: Re: GRILL Post by: chris131 on November 25, 2008, 07:04:44 PM I agree with gay131lover. To have a go at someone's work is terrible, if you haven't got something nice to say then don't say it at all. Just a thought ;)
Title: Re: GRILL Post by: eugene on November 25, 2008, 07:16:58 PM I only voiced my opinion on the grill and not the car.It doesn't matter what car it is,but surely one could do a better effort on the cutting out of the grill to fit around the headlights.I didn't mean to offend anyone ;).Eugene
Title: Re: GRILL Post by: gay131lover on November 25, 2008, 07:49:52 PM yes he was looking for a grill and someone said about cutting his own effort is 1 thing sneering is another miro man if your happy
: you the man: grill wont make it drive any better fiat 131 s suffered badly from rust how many original ones havnt had some sort of body work done great to have one beauty is the eye of the be holder Title: Re: GRILL Post by: brensport on November 25, 2008, 09:09:20 PM I would have to agree with you gay lover, I would not take the P out of any man's workmanship. This work for this man, is probably the best he could do. Anyway the overall picture is at least he has a gem of a car there. I don't think any of us should be judge and jury. We all love our cars.
Title: Re: GRILL Post by: theredx19 on November 25, 2008, 09:42:07 PM Spot on Gay131lover and bren and Chris there are too many people who look for faults in another mans efforts but with such keen eyes looking at this have you noticed that this is not a road car (cut slicks etc.). Well how many people race mint cars in this world ::) ::) ::), hopefully the proud owner of this car never sees the insults made about his pride and joy....
