I live about an hour away from Malaga, if anyone is serioulsly interested i could possibly go and have a look, i would be willing to store at my house in Illora prior to collection.
Fot your info, as a lot of british live in Spain, transport is approx 500 - 600 pounds to the UK.

'seat 131' i am back here in Illora for another 10 days, i return to UK 18th December, if you want to come and see my car drop me a line.

Steve

Ive just had a visit from seat131 and his brother,
he came up from Malaga in his Seat 131 Diplomatic, the one seen earlier in this thread, totally original, electric windows, central locking, power steering, never had a radio or speakers fitted, 43,000 (i think he said).
Some Spanish kisses here and their but nothing that couldnt be removed easily. This car is remarkably solid, the only slight area of rust is on the door frame. If anyone is looking for a solid 131 4 door with extra's (electric windows etc) this simply has to be a good car to buy.
Originally owned by a doctor from Madrid who used to keep the car at his villa in Fuengirola for use when he was on holiday.
I did suggest earlier that i would offer to store the car, having seen the car now im sure this car could be driven all the way to the UK or elsewhere as soon as you bought it.

Looks a lovely car - Especially being a 2000 version.

If someone wanted to "convert" it to Fiat it does not look like too much work.

I'll be in Malaga in Feb for a weekend - Must go & have a look. ;)

Hi Steve - Would be great to meet up - I guess seeing your car is out of the question because I think you have said it's not road legal at the moment.

Yes I'm going to Malaga with the sisters and mother for a special birthday - A surprise weekend away for her (hope she does not see this!) ..arriving late on the 5th ..to the 9th. We will be hiring a car so I will be mobile but wont be able to disappear for long as I'm the designated driver!!  ;)

Kev !

It would be a shame to convert it into Fiat.  Seat 131 is just as good and the emotional value ( at least to me)  is originality. I would keep it the way it is.  It is a 131 after all.  A Spanish 131 but 131.

OK Kev, sounds like a plan.
Write again when the time is closer.
Im about an hours drive from Malaga and 20 minutes from Granada a beautifull city you should visit some time, you would need half a day to visit me, if thats out the quesition as you seem to indicate ill call down to Malaga.
Do you know where you are going to be staying yet?
If theirs anything i can help you with let me know.
Regards
Steve

I do work away and im only home every other month. PM me if your interested and ill send you my tel No in Spain.
Regards
Steve
PS seat131 is currently helping me get my 131 onto Spanish plates.

Hi Steve - I'll be in touch the week before I depart.

Thanks for the offer to store the car - I'm sure that would be of interest to the eventual purchaser.? :)

Good news on progress with getting your car Spanish registered - Another hurdle to 3MA09 attendance overcome, hopefully!? ;)

Hola Seat 1312000tc

I dont think that I have said that I am interested in buying the car (but nothing is impossible)...More than happy to have a look at it and certainly report back to other members on its condition - That may help someone else make up their mind.

It certainly looks like a very attractive car.  ;)
