I think that the idea is great but has been executed in a more symmetrical way for other cars such as the BMW 316 and Mk 1 Gold GTi twin headlamp conversions. Also the Opel Ascona/Vauxhall Cavalier J car Hella grill with integrated spot lamps.
I never warmed to this grill mainly due to the location of the additional lamps - They have been placed low down and next to the main lamps when a more central location may have suited them better, cosmetically speaking. There was a brand new set with lights on Ebay about 6 months ago.
