Title: 3ma09 Team UK - On our way too! Post by: Thotos on May 26, 2009, 04:28:19 PM The small 2-car 3ma Team UK had an early start this morning with a 7:00am ferry out of Dover for Calais landing in France at about 9:30am local time. It was an easy route south on the A26 and even with a few stops (had to refuel twice!? :o ::) ) and a car search by French Customs at the motorway services during our lunch stop we managed to reach Dijon and check into our overnight accommodation hotel by 5:00pm.
We understand the equally small 2 car 3ma Team IRL are not doing well having had a delayed docking in France and heavy traffic. As we reached our overnight stay in Dijon, 3ma Team IRL were still negotiating Paris traffic? :-[? We crossed the Alps via the Mont Blanc tunnel and stopped for Lunch at Aosta where we also met up with three cars from Germany and one form The Netherlands. So an eight car convoy arrived safely at our hotel in Turin about 6:00pm. Today the fun really begins... ;D
