It is still there and what was even nicer, the door was open. Nice people working overthere, wanted to know everything about my car(they didn't know about this part of Abarth history). With showing an original brochure the ice was fully broken. We got a guide through the showroom, workshop and a testdrive in the 500 esseesse!! Great little Abarth! After the drive we got 2 numberplateholders, holders for the frontwindow and an Abarth keyring. ;D ;D

Were there any Spirits at the old site? I went there in 2001 and it was a plumbing centre ::) not much of a use for the birthplace of so many successful machines.....looks like its vacant now with the windows all boarded up... what a waste :'( Here are a couple of pics from the 60's.
