Title: Prize for the 131 Post by: kev131 on June 04, 2007, 05:15:53 PM I went to the local Classic & Vintage show in Limerick yesterday - About 250 cars split between VAGs and Classics.
The twin cam 131 caused a bit of a stir drawing much attention cos of rarity and condition. It also won best in class (post 1977) beating an @89 Escort RS Turbo which was pristine with only 29k miles from new. When I read topics like that I observe that this expression is not so false. I' m glad to see that a car whose production stopped 21 years ago has won prizes and many people still give their love to a car- legend. Congratulations Mirafiori making us really happy....... ;)
