Title: Re: 131 racing. OZ style! Post by: turb on November 07, 2009, 03:29:44 AM Man that is cool!! When that thing winds up it really gets up and goes.
Looks like some refinement has gone in since the first two recordings? Or has the driver managed to tame the beast? Title: Re: 131 racing. OZ style! Post by: gunobla on November 07, 2009, 08:11:38 PM Seems like there were a million gear changes in there but heaps of horsepower too
Title: Re: 131 racing. OZ style! Post by: miro-1980 on November 07, 2009, 08:20:03 PM The car really goes ... on a straight .. in a curve - not so much ...
It seems to have huge excess of HP , well in excess of th e car's handling ... Do I see and hear right that the car is being accelerated only on a straight .. and in all curves the clutch is depressed and brakes are engaged ... Interesting gearbox, very, very quick shifts but shifting like regular 5 gear helical ( not dig clutch).. Very good piece wo watch and wonder ... Title: Re: 131 racing. OZ style! Post by: Testament on November 13, 2009, 07:07:03 AM in excess of the grip rather than the handling - also the car has only been run a few times in anger in the last couple of years so I doubt the driver has "tamed" it as such.
