Who saves this car? For sale with documents in Belgium. The owner wants 530 euro otherwise he will break it next wednesday. Anybody here sees the rarityvalue of this car? I hope so. I offered 300 myself and wait for a reaction. This car needs and deserves to be safed by somebody here!!!!

i only wish. you have no idea how complicated it is to import an old car into serbia . it would probably cost me 5.000euro just to get it here

I don't know Dave. I just had mailcontact with the owner. He said his last price is 430 euro and he wants to know it latest next saturday evening. Otherwise he breaks it for some parts and send it to carheaven.
I don't wanna be the horrible guy in this case, my storage is full of cars but to be this car NEEDS to be saved. Who at this forum stops only talking and starts getting in action ??? ??? ???

Hold out Albert. I doubt the man will get more than 300 euro for it. I think you will be lucky ;)

I don't know guys. Actually I don't want it myself, because I have a lot of cars and don't start any part of restoration the next 10 or so years.
My hope is still that one comes up like you Dave or Eugene to buy it and save it for the future!

I am seriously tempted by this Panorama - especially as it would 'replace' the one I sold to Dave ;D Thing is though that I don't have the means to get it back to the UK or anywhere dry to store it once I get it here :-\.

It would certainly be a shame to see it scrapped though - these Panoramas are getting extremely rare now.  :'(

Car is saved by a guy from France!  He owns another older Fiat and really intends to restore it.  ;D ;D

ok bud first i have to finish a few cars
i am restauring a fiat 500 ferves cargo (125 cars made)
and also a fiat 1100 E musone from 1953 that i have buy with my father.
i like italian cars and ok my father is an italian :)
the only problem is that i restore bud never sell the cars ;D

my first car is a fiat 500 D from 1963 and i have buy the car when i was 14 yaers old
and now i am 28 and i still have the car and drive this car when the wether is good

i go take the car this week wen the car is at my home i take pictures.

then dont look to the ground beacause i have to place concreed  and i want to make space bud now i have a car more  :D
bud next summer there will be concreed and then i can place my bridge so i can take the car in the air to chek all.

ok bud the 1100 E is a new project .
i have also 2 fiat uno turbo to restore bud first the 1100 and the 131

today i have bring the panorama at home the last document of car control is from 1989 and in 1995 they have make a document for lost of documents to the police bud i have look the cabels and the cabel from the + of the battery was molten.
i have take tape because i want to see of the engine go and yes the engine was startet directly bud i have see that the car has elektrical problems and that there are parts thet are not there.
sombodi nows how its possible that there is water in the car?
i have look and there is no rust on the roof bud the roofpannel is wet.
maybe tomorrow i take pictures from the car and set these on tha forum.
is there someone that can tell me of there are more electrical problems on a 131?

On mk2 & mk3 131s including sport so im sure it will be the same on mk1 look at the main charge live where it joins the connector block to the ignition lock as I recall this is the brown wire as where it connects is not a very good connection and there are nearly always signs of this getting hot and burning, I nearly had a sport go up because of this so cut this wire back and and solder two halves together and it cures problem but I use one of those old type large soldering irons that you heat up on the gas stoves as the small ones wont do it because of the size of the wire, another problem usually on 131 sports regards dipped headlights if they are very dull check the voltage at the lamps and usually this will read 10 volts ! tried everything for this and the only thing that worked was taking live from battery to relay for each lamp and using original feed to lamp to trip relay thus giving you 12 volts and decent dipped beam

I think the Dip beam feed goes through the steering column stork, and the main beam through the relay. I expect the column switch will be showing a high resistance.

 But I wired in my lights and spots the say way as you, and with a big alternator and battery had 800watts coming out of the front,  Daylight through the darkest roads, ofcurse one needs to show some responsibility for on coming drivers with this sort of light output.

Well I remember checking how many connections there were from start to finish being connections to the light swith, stalks, fuse box in and out and inside fuse box and then to lamps wiring and then to lamp and I think it came to 16 ?! and I was convinced this was where these 2 volts were being lost so I cut it down to I think 3 or 4 connections which didnt make any difference at all !! so I went the direct feed to relays route

i have buy on Ebay rear lights for the panorama for only 9,99 pound + 8 pound shipping to belgium 11 euro +  +- 9 euro and they are from SIEM (carrello group)so its like original :)

I find the easiest way is to link them from a site like photobucket or dropshots.

I too have a new pair of rear lights for my Panorama now :)

Mine was a 1600 CL Panorama which I'm currently transforming into a series 2 1600 T/C Panorama Super.

Just a note, My friend did not make that chassis for stratos. He just kindly let me get it and helped me to pick it up from his place. And the neck problems are real thing and nothing to laugh about.

sorry, pal. didn't mean to offend your friend. just meant to say that stratos must be a bitch to work on since it's a small and cramped car. also, when done, it will be a glorious way for one to break his neck.
