Kev shoud go for a look at least ::,and it is RHD except for it being automatic,but that could easily be changed to manual.Eugene

whats the story with the bubbles/blisters on the paint on the bootlid?

I saw this last night. Definitely worth a look at as it is in the UK reasonably priced (if it is a good one) and being RHD is a bonus. It's also a Bellini.

Hard to tell from the photos what those blisters are from,is it rust underneath or just in the paint,however the seller is not trying to hide the blisters which shows that more than likely the seller is genuine.
Any one that goes to buy a car always will take it for a drive,except here ??? ::).If thats the case,then 1000stg would be a fair price in my opinion.Eugene

He might be genuine but it seems to me the seller doesn't want to be the seller!  :-\  I've never heard for having to pre-pay a fee to view a car! Getting time wasters is unfortunately one of the regrettable facts of life when one is trying to sell a car.  >:(  That's why I don't sell my cars and keep them forever  ;D  (with very few exceptions so far).

I've never heard of anything so riddiculous! Who charges people to view an item for sale? I know that auction houses sometimes charge for a catalogue/entry but I've never heard of a private seller doing so. Crazy. Certainly hasn't maximised any potential market! ::)

This bloke must be a MORON and if he tried to get ?25 off me to look at this I wouldnt rate his chances, might go and look at it just to see him try...........

couple of observations from those few pics:
damage on the paint on the bootlid is most likely from car being covered and uncovered daily by a rough cloth cover. rust on 132 would be located on lower edge of bootlid.
there's no chrome left on rear lamp surrounds. strange. that's common problem on 132's, a result of sun (UV) damaging the plastic. on the other hand, interior seems to be in good nick. usually it suffers from sun damage more than stoplights. both are unconsistant with car being covered everyday after driving.
it seems to be a belini 132. black car with checkered seats.

what's the price?

It's priced at ?2,500 and the car is in Derby, UK.  Now let's see, who do know that lives in Derby..... one for sev131 ?!

I know this car. Went to see it 3 years ago in the same place on bricks. There is rust lurking underneath the paint and it was bubbling up in places then. It has had a respray. The owner seems to think it's worth thousands which I disagree. The son who is dealing with the sale actually thought it was a 131.

I had a call last week from the seller and I asked to view the car again to assess it's current condition. No call yet.

I was gonna go look at the car and get some detailed pics for Kev.

It's located 20miles from me.

Shows how important it is to view a car in person though rather than just look at pictures. The fussy rules by the seller would not put me off it if it was a really good car that I really wanted, but it appears for Kev at least that this may not be the case......

The write up in the ad has now been changed slightly. The mention of no rust bothers me however in light of Bobby's comments above.
