Title: 3ma10 - Location and accommodation Post by: Thotos on November 26, 2009, 11:40:01 PM Our 3ma10 organising team in Germany, under the expert guidance of Ren? (131akafa (http://131mirafiori.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=19)) who, incidentally, is one of just 4 people who have attended all three previous 3ma meetings, have been very busy planning 3ma10. Over 50 hotels were contacted by Ren? who has now arranged a cracking deal for us with a hotel for 3ma10.
We've chosen Lossburg, a town in the district of Freudenstadt in Baden-W?rttemberg in southern Germany and in the heart of the Black Forest, as our base for 3ma10. Please see the News (http://www.131mirafiori.com/news12.htm) section for further details of the area. Our chosen hotel is the Traube Hotel and Restaurant (http://www.131mirafiori.com/traube-lossburg.htm) in Lossburg. It was fully refurbished in 2008 and as well as the 37 comfortably furnished, non-smoking, en suite rooms equipped with a range of modern amenities, the hotel boasts a spa area which features a sauna, a solarium, a massage studio and a beauty parlour. So any ladies (or gents?) who do not wish to spend their 3ma10 days bouncing around the Black Forest in their 131s, can always stay at the hotel and get pampered. Please visit the Travel & Accommodation (http://www.131mirafiori.com/travelacc.htm) section of the website for details of our exclusive hotel deal and how to book your room(s) for 3ma10. We have reserved several rooms until the end of February 2010 for 3ma10 but please do not delay in booking your rooms. Cancellations made up to 2 days before arrival will not incur a penalty so please book your room(s) now and if anything unexpected happens later it will be possible to cancel your booking. Our sincere thanks go to Ren? (131akafa (http://131mirafiori.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=19)) for all his hard 3ma10 work so far. Title: Re: 3ma10 - Location and accommodation Post by: Thotos on December 28, 2009, 01:15:35 PM perhaps a silly question, but i haven't seen the info on price of accomodation so far? Kevin has given the link to the details page but here it is as well just in case you still haven't found it: Traube Hotel and Restaurant 3ma10 accommodation offer: Single room ?46 per night Double room ?41 per person per night 3rd person in double room ?30 per night Tourist tax (charged separately) ?1.35 per day The price includes: Welcome drink Rich breakfast buffet 4-course dinner menu Use of the spa facility and the swimming pool (8x10 m) Free reserved parking Payment must be made individually by each guest upon departure. One of the highlights of the 3ma meetings, for me at least, is meeting other 131 enthusiasts and when they are people we already "know" via this forum it's even better. ;) :D ;D Title: Re: 3ma10 - Location and accommodation Post by: kev131 on December 28, 2009, 01:23:33 PM perhaps a silly question, but i haven't seen the info on price of accomodation so far? Title: Re: 3ma10 - Location and accommodation Post by: jogo on May 10, 2010, 04:30:20 PM Hi All
the good news - for me - is that the hotel has my reservation for Friday. the bad news - for everyone else- is that I, a non-131 dreever, am attending :o unfortunately, for only the 1 eve; since I have a huge trip planned (in a huge vehicle) starting Sat PM; taking me across 1/2 of Europa, chasing the long-lost Sun .. & ...hopefully back 6 days later again to loverly Baden W'burg. Johnny 48 also known as (its a secret!) Title: Re: 3ma10 - Location and accommodation Post by: curt on May 10, 2010, 08:36:08 PM Well i guess its 48 ft long :o
