Title: Re: Prices are getting bigger Post by: miro-1980 on March 13, 2010, 10:24:25 PM Mick,
My comments : "FIAT 131 ABARTH GR. 4 QUATTRO ROMBI Anno 1978, iniezione Kugelfisher, carter secco, 245 Hp, ultima evoluzione, restauro maniacale, eventuali ricambi, importante passato storico." The 245 HP is bull s...t. The abarth always had more than 230 bhp and suffered always 20-30 bhp deficiency against its leading competitors. So 245 is bull!!! Otherwise the undercarriage is flawless, dash is flawless., rear muffler is flawless, rear diff protection plate - flawless, rear suspension flawless. The guy should give engine and head cast numbers as well as chassis number . Some who is likely to buy it will look for these as a start . If this is real Grp.4 it must have FIA papers and rally history. :Lack of such document may suggest this is a hybrid (original mechanics in a Racing body or worse a counterfeit with parts of the original body welded into a acing to pretend this is the real thing. At best this is a replica. If all parts are original Abarth and body is original Abarth and the car has all papers it is worth exactly 150.000 Euro Without it the value is is less than half. Miro |
