I think that Dave posted a link when this was for sale a few years ago but it's worth looking at again - If money were no object I'd have this, as my very first car was one of these in a darker blue.

I kept details of the first ad which said asking price was ?5000 then - Interesting rate of inflation since then!! :o

Not the most exciting of line ups I agree but my all time favourite is the Orange Sport currently residing in the new garage!  :D

Or you could just get a car from Italy with a few dents for quite a few thousand less.... 

Or even better still, make this guy an offer bearing in mind he has more of them than he knows what to do with......

It was indeed and great fun on icy estate roads - Nice easy way to learn all abour rear wheel steering and opposite lock.  ;D

It was a 1980 3 door in black with red/yellow stripes and 2 spots out front. Proud as punch I was especially as it always started unlike the two previous Fiats!

I remember reading a story about a Cannonball entry wiring a switch into the brake light circuit so that you could make it look like you were managing to go around corners without braking. So of course junior was at his electrical experimentation stage and had to do the same!!  ;)

Funny thing was I met a subsequent owner about a year after I sold it and was chatting to him about the car. Towards the end of the conversation he asked me if the brake lights ever worked when I had the car - He had brought it to numerous dealers to have it fixed all without any luck - he was delighted when I leaned in and ...flicked the switch!!  ;D 8)

I had forgotten to update the owner's manual!! :)

I have had three 127s, Two 903 mk1s & a 1050 sport mk2, They were great fun to drive but two out of the three ended up on the roof. One was when I coming through some bends on a lovely spring day and I came round a corner and there was cow crap all over the road and the back stepped out got it back but it hit a mud bank on edge of road and flipped, the other was same scenario in the 1050 sport but in the wet and involved another mud bank at the side of the road.........
