it's quite easy for me to fabricate custom steel intake manifolds and not so with alu manifolds. Title: Re: steel intake manifold Post by: Testament on May 05, 2010, 09:39:23 AM weight, conductivity, easier/cheaper to cast aluminium for mass production.
You can fabricate your own manifold from steel and it will be fine, it might just weigh a wee bit more and not be quite as "flash" as a fabricated aluminium one. |
