Yeah it's mine ;D

Decided I need to clear some space and raise some funds otherwise I will not get all my projects done. I have decided that I should have one example of each model so as I have two 132s this one is up for sale. I have set a reserve and it if makes it it goes, if not I will do the repairs once the 130 is finished and get it MOTd.

Good luck also Dave.
The 132 shape has grown on me in the last 2/3 years and that one seems to look good.
Is there a big 132 following ie forums etc ?

Don't seem to have the same popularity as the 131, at least in the UK. There seems to be a fair few of them about in Germany and Italy though.

How does the 1800 tc engine feel, the 1800cc was the engine they used in the US import 131's with the emisison control carb set up i think.

Not driven the car any distance but I'm told the 1800 is the one to have. Powerful but likes to rev more apparently.

Thanks, I have had a few people e-mailing and ringing so there is some interest. We will see how it goes......

That was quick Dave - Might even be a bit too quick - Hope it's a genuine bid. If it is.... it certainly indicates renewed interest in 132s which is great.  :)

The top bidder has good feedback which is reassuring so we will see what happens. At the end of the day if it does not sell then I won't be unhappy to keep it so whatever happens happens ;)

nice car.
i've had 132 1800 special and can tell from personal experience that it's more fun to drive than 2000. engine is more rev happy, the whole car is lighter, has shorter diff ratio and better brakes than 2000

I have heard that before - Maybe in a road test of the 2000 model.

I've never driven a 1800 132 but I have driven a 1800 124 CC Sport ...immediately after driving my 131 Sport ...and a big difference is as you said Djape, a more rev happy engine - I must admit to being tempted by this car but my heart is set on the S3 - Much nicer interior and more sporty styling. :)

My thinking too Kev which is why I'm parting with this one rather than the series 3 2 litre which I also own.

Sold for ?1600 - Quite pleased with my speculative valuation of "at least ?1500" on Martyk's thread.  :)

Congratulations on a good price Dave - Looks like you had two keen buyers at the end. Someone has to lose unfortunately.  :(

Be sure to ask the new owner to keep us informed of progress with the repairs on the forum...and maybe you can tell us now where the car is going...UK or Ireland...? ;)
