Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: italianxrays on June 01, 2010, 01:09:17 PM :) I hope to attend Sev, I know my 131 is not on the road but it will be nice to see any Forum members, I do wish there were more opportunities for members to meet up besides the 3MA event which is solely for driven 131's.
Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: simon131 on June 01, 2010, 03:02:58 PM Ian,
Don't always rely on others to organise an event for 131s matey. ;) Choose a date and a location, post it up here and get people together. ;D I'll not be at Stanford Hall as it's my birthday and my wife has other plans ??? Hope I like them! ;D :D Simon :) Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: simon131 on June 01, 2010, 03:11:49 PM By the way - 3MA isn't soley for 'driven 131s'. I think virtually every year - including this year - people came without a 131 and were driven round in a 'friends' 131.
Steve (Parrish) and his missus Dawn drove all the way to Turin from Spain last year in a 'non-131' ;D, then Steve went along in Theo's Sport and Dawn in my Abarth for the duration. ;) This year Robert came to the event with Enzo in Enzo's 131 Abarth replica as his own car is being sprayed....... If your car's still not on the road next year post up here - I'm sure someone will be glad of the company in their car. ;) Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: Sev131 on June 04, 2010, 10:42:56 PM I should be going to this show aslong as it's not peeing it down before I intend to leave.
Noisy bus as my 2 year old calls it gets a going over tommrrow. Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: Gremlino on June 05, 2010, 09:29:00 AM Hello chaps,

Some other 131 photo's too. http://s271.photobucket.com/albums/jj159/B5SEV/AUTOITALIA%20STANFORD%20HALL%2006062010/ Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: jasonh131 on June 06, 2010, 09:07:46 PM great pics sev , i know the super looks great ,he came down to brookland s with us ..

I passed my driving test in '79, in a '78 2 door escort that, thinking about it, was very similar if not exactly the same colour as your sport . Now I know why I like the colour so much. Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: Sev131 on June 20, 2010, 12:21:03 PM The escort sounded like a nicely tuned monster. Didn't get a chance to have a look under the bonnet.
I suspect some twin carbs as you could here the growl as it drove through. Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: jasonh131 on July 13, 2010, 08:57:02 PM (http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4067/4676779476_c9ce12df04_b.jpg)
have you been lowering the sport bobby Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: Sev131 on July 13, 2010, 10:24:28 PM Thanks for the pic Jay. :)
Where did you find that? Not lowererd anymore since recommision, but it seems to of settled down a bit since I first changed the spring's and shocks. The spring's are not standard. Think they are Koni spring's as the car I took them off had koni sports all round from the early 80's. Originally had cut spring's cable tied to the rear axle. Handles really well at the moment and not overally crashy at all. Spax rear adjustables are well recommended. Well worth the money i'd say. Will have to see what the koni's are like sometime. Had some good fun coming out of Stanford hall through the country lane! Title: Re: Stanford Hall Auto Italia Post by: paulcas on July 14, 2010, 05:29:15 PM what a gr8 pic 8)
