What do members think of an actual register listing all our cars inc. status whether on road or under restoration, engine / chassis, colour etc. by model to include those modified from original. I happened across an interesting site (see below) after I was recently offered an MG Magnette Farina. Perhaps there is too much work involved in setting up a link ? Post by: Thotos on August 23, 2010, 10:24:50 AM Technically speaking it's quite straight forward to do but I would have thought most people wouldn't want all the details of their cars in the public domain. It will make 'cloning' one of these cars a lot easier for the unscrupulous.

Post by: covjek on August 23, 2010, 05:34:40 PM I agree with you Thotos,but it would be interesting to have at least the basic data (colour,road worthy or under restoration,year of manufacture,etc.).Chassis numbers and such should be private unless the owner wishes to share that kind of data with the community.Maybe a poll wouldn`t be a bad idea?That`s just my two cents (or pennies if you like) ;).
