Title: Crystal palace sprint curcuit

I for one never new it had one .. a full curcuit in the early days put now only a partial sprint course

Just seen the bit on the classic car show ch5 ..
  there is a static show at this event as well , we could have gone if there's  any more interest.. ;)

 were double booked  24th 25th may  but id like to go 2016

I saw it on the TV last night as well Jason. I thought it looked like a nice venue and good event - a good cross-section of lightly prepared classic cars - not just the usual Fords or Subarus. Not much Italian though. The shot of the drivers briefing made me laugh though - most of them were grey-haired or balding (like my good self! ::) ;D) so it wasn't a young man's event  ;D

The trouble with that Channel 5 show though is that almost everything is British. I know that there was a wonderful Ferrari and a quirky Citroen in previous episodes, but this week was Jag E-Type, MG Midget, Bentley Arnage T and a bloke's collection of British vehicles  ::) The only break from the British this week was Bruno Senna doing a lap of the handling track at Mercedes Benz World Brooklands in a 190 E Cosworth 16v 'like his uncle drove'. I'll be interested to see what else he gets to drive on the comparison laps.
