Title: Front wheel drive 131? Post by: mirafiori76 on October 07, 2010, 07:30:13 PM Some time ago i found these pictures from a very "different" rally version. It appears to be half self made and half with original parts. Look at the bonnet, strange air intake.

The car still has its rwd gearbox in it. The clutch cable is routed away from the clutch around to its normal position on the other side. I think this is a normal 131 race car with the engine thrown back in the front, and then I doubt whether that is its race lump, look at the clutch size. So it might not even have ever been fitted to that car. There's no gearbox attached to the engine but there's a Sport type gearstick still in the car.
Mike, I remember discussions for 4WD 131s and I remember seeing photos of this car before but I can't remember where. As Stathe has said, it's been done before.
