Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 02, 2010, 04:48:48 PM Found this one also. This is me behind the wheel on the race track of Zandvoort back in 2002. Funny for me to find this picture on the net. :)

raer side also ;D Enzo :'( Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: Fiat 131 Abarth#2 on December 08, 2010, 08:38:14 AM Hi Mike,
it's nice to see that the MS livery car has the same plate as the San Remo car from Walter! Enzo ;) Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 08, 2010, 08:41:00 AM Yes, they used the same cars often for different rallyes. But they also used the same plates for other cars, when one was too much damaged. Therefor it's difficult to find out how much there were really made.
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 08, 2010, 09:23:08 AM But right front side always seems to be favorite. ;)
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 08, 2010, 09:25:53 AM And we all know this one. Walter Rohrl came in a collision with a mini van in safari rally 1977.

Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 08, 2010, 07:35:15 PM So it DID crash eventually. No wonder with that driving style. :-[ But looking at the damage i can tell it's easely repairable.
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: stathe174 on December 08, 2010, 09:59:32 PM Mike I don't think that its the same car although the first car could easily become like the second :D :D :D

Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: bellamacchina on December 14, 2010, 08:45:24 PM Don't  worry, he can use one of the doors offered in the for sale section ;D
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 14, 2010, 09:34:56 PM Wonder what happened to the car after this rally. I don't think just a door was enough. Looking at the roof i think this one was too heavely damaged  :'( :'(
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: stathe174 on December 14, 2010, 10:11:58 PM Mike I don't think that its too much damage in both cars. Especially the second with the roll cage...
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 14, 2010, 10:24:30 PM I don't know for sure. But both roofs are too badly damaged, so these had to be changed. And maybe some other bodywork which could more easely be repared.
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 14, 2010, 10:53:49 PM Whoops. Something went wrong. Deleted by accident the whole picture because it was upside down. Here it is again.
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 14, 2010, 11:12:45 PM Remember this one? Seems it wasn't damaged for the first time. :-\
Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: Fiat 131 Abarth#2 on December 15, 2010, 08:41:10 AM "Damaged Stradale"
This was the first Stradale new registered in Germany! :-[ Enzo :'( Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 15, 2010, 08:52:55 AM Wow Enzo,
What happened? And when? :'( Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: Fiat 131 Abarth#2 on December 15, 2010, 09:05:09 AM Mike,
it was a mountain-run in 1976 and the ambulance drives back to the Start after the last racecar! but the track section was given not freely! the stradale was the conclusion vehicle! Enzo :'( Title: Re: Damaged Stradale Post by: mirafiori76 on December 15, 2010, 09:11:27 AM And since a Stradale is mostly made of fiberglass and a Mercedes van of heavy steel... :-\
