Title: first welding on the 131 Post by: Henk on March 20, 2011, 08:19:03 PM This week it was time for the yearly Dutch MOT (APK)
All was well except the underneath body / chassis "Some welding work to do" is what the inspector said... Spend all saturday on the front but it will take another day or two for the rear... it was worse then I expected but we all know that once you first start fixing this sort of things after 30 years.. I had a major repair at the right jack support and during cutting away all the rusty parts arround it I suddenly noticed a wonderfull wiringloom cut in pieces (at least 14 different wires going to the rear) Took me a while to solder everything together, Luckally they all had a different color code Doing the same at the left side would be more dangerous as the fuel and rear brake lines are on that side Title: Re: first welding on the 131 Post by: Henk on March 28, 2011, 04:39:07 PM another two pics
