PPC in the Park is back at Mallory Park on Saturday May 21st and we reckon it?s one of the best events for clubs to meet up at: 8 great reasons to bring your Club along to PPC in the Park ?. 1. It costs just ?20 to go on track - club members can all go out on track together. Track time books out quickly ? so book now to avoid disappointment. 2. Clubs are allocated their own club space in the Paddock to park up and hang out. 3. Take part in the ?Club Challenge?. This year we are pitching club against club ? nominate your best driver to take part in the Autotest and we?ll announce the winning club at the end of the show. All clubs who pre-book bulk tickets get one free run ? choose your challenger wisely! The Autotest is just ?10 for 3 runs ? so why not hold your own qualifiers to nominate your ?Club Challenge? driver? 4. Club members can finally put their arguments to rest ? there is a BHP competition to find who is running the most powerful car. 5. Be a part of PPC?s first ever ?Non Concours?. The typical concours is a parade of motor vehicles in which the car in the ?best original condition? is given a prize. We do things a bit differently at PPC - the winner will be the car that has the most amount of modifications - be it home-grown, after market, or bastardised. Editor Will Holman will pick the cars he likes the most ? yes, it?ll be that arbitrary ? not a clipboard in sight. 6. Pre-booked tickets are only ?15, including a free T-Shirt, for a day of cracking petrolhead entertainment; watching all-day Track Action (with hot rods, vintage cars and every type of car you can imagine on track), burnouts, drifting demos, off-road action, show cars, entertaining projects like fitting a jet engine to PPC?s Track Day Rolls Royce and much much more. 7. Why not make a weekend of it? Camping is available on Friday and Saturday night. 8. Finally ? it?s great promotion for your club ? you?ll get a weblink on our PPC in the Park webpage & there?ll be coverage of the event in the magazine too!
