You are damn right, there are a lot of this people around! I don't understand them, why waste your own time on something you cannot afford or even don't wanna have??

BUT, I had the problem 2 weeks ago the other side. I bought a car through the internet after quite a long conversation. We agreed a final price, so I asked for an account to finish the deal. 2 days no reply... and then I'm sorry but the car is sold already.  What can you do then. First you think about war and guns and breaking some bones or go to court but what is the result? A heartattack and total waste of your owm time and mood. But it is very frustrating because the car was exactly what I wanted.

Because of this kind of things people don't trust eachother at all I think

Hi Marty

I wonder is the reluctance to purchase anything to do with the rumours that the beast has been impersonating a low flying aircraft in it's attempts to take off!! ;D

I know it's very frustrating - Anytime a 131 is advertised it seems to draw out the curious and nostalgic but with no real interest in buying - I'm afraid it goes with the joys of ownership - Take it as a sign that you are destined for 3MA08 - Anyway you'd only miss the old girl after she was gone!! ;)

Hey, I know exactly what you guys mean about timewasters!!!

I have been trying to sell my 131 after many hours of restoring it, and have had a lot of interest but no one serious about it. I think my price is realistic but they seem to want something for nothing. ::)

Just wondering what you guys think..any comments would be appreciated!!? :)

Just another warning to anyone selling, be aware of companies ringing to sell on your behalf as they are all scammers. I haven't been caught out, but they are pretty good at hustling you and try really hard to get your credit card number!

cheers
